An interesting take on it especially since our discipline requires driving oneself insane. Good share.

Here's a method I use to raise what some of you call wod, power whatever, i inhale the smoke of mugwort, really taking in into my lungs becoming what you would call stoned off it. Then I begin to pace or walk round and around until I begin to start feeling hot all over, then I do nothing with it whatsoever allowing the heat to go of its own accord. It is at the very moment the energy starts to fade that something within me comes out to say hello.
These periods of intense heat come with feelings of great anger and the need to cause harm.
I'm by no means good at this.

Jan, how long does that last? I have not attempted mixing anything with it right now as I need a better grasp on what is actually happening and have a pretty strong aversion to most substances, though I know mugwort is pretty tame by most standards. Are you able to recreate it without it? What happens when you try? Interested in hearing how it affects it.

Hi all, sorry I was away. What does mugwart do, exactly? I have heard it can be bad in high concentrations or if you are pregnant but otherwise it is tame and helps with dreaming.

Hello,
Sorry I'd not answered several of you about mugwort, it's a herb which has the power to bring on visions, when inhaled, also used by some to bring about different states of consciousness if you want a label.
In answer to one of you asking me the question of if I can bring about the heat and feeling the inner beast is about to make his appearance without mugwort the answer is yes, by using the breath work which Wayland has so excellently explained in his recent post.
I have recently discovered the Russian martial art of Systema and that teaches breath work, but also the use of wod chi whatever, it teaches you to use about twenty five percent of your strength, relying on movement, conserving power for when you need it.
Rambling now.
